On 10th March 2020, H.E Eliphas Barine, High Commissioner of Kenya to Republic of Ghana received Leaders, Students, and Staff from The All-Africa Students Union.
The purpose of the visit by the Union was to present awards to two Kenyan students who excelled in various field of leadership in their respective Universities and couldn’t travel to Ghana to receive the awards. The High Commissioner received awards on behalf of Mary Ojwang of Nairobi University and Janet Wachira of Kenyatta University.
The High Commissioner thanked the students for the role they play is mentoring young students to take up leadership. He further encouraged the students to reach out for support from AU noting that despite being in existence since 1972, little is known about the Union
